File Conversion
In order to be able to use your own files you need MusicReader Solo Basic/Pro on a Mac OS or Windows computer. With this software you can easily scan paper sheet music and convert all types of files. The software also contains functionality to transfer the sheet music to your iPad in a convenient way.
Download
The iPad version of MusicReader can be downloaded free of charge
from the App Store:
You need the Mac or Windows version to convert and transfer files.

Important iPad Limitation
- There are currently no foot pedals supported on the Apple iPad. Our hardware partners are working on this, but Apple has limited the hardware support.
- The screen is only 9.7" in size. That's only half the size of paper sheet music. Only when viewing half pages you will get the "normal" size.
- More advanced features of MusicReader (Mac / Windows) are not yet supported. They will be considered in future iPad versions.
- Files for MusicReader iPad need to be created on Mac OS or Windows.
The iPad doesn't have its own conversion program.
If you need these features then we recommend to checkout Tablet PC and Touch PCs on our website and use MusicReader for Mac OS or Windows.
